Who I am:

I am a front-end engineer with over 9 years of professional development experience spanning across software, marketing, and UX. I am an expert communicator, a lifelong learner, and an advocate for great user experiences.

What I bring to the table:

• A diverse professional background - I've been a software developer on an agile team, an agency web developer, and a hybrid of both!
• The ability to get up to speed with new codebases quickly and effectively
• Experience working with distributed teams using sync and async communication
• Educational and professional background in user experience
• Proficiency with modern design tools like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD
• Experience working with UX designers, other front-end developers, API teams, business stakeholders, and senior management
• Training in soft skills such as radical candor, unconscious bias, and giving effective presentations
• Accessibility and 508 compliance knowledge

What I'm looking for:

I am a firm believer that if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room. After a five-year stint at a nationally ranked creative agency, I want to get back into software development as an individual contributor. I love writing code, learning to write better code, and teaching others what I've learned along the way. I am looking for a role where I can make an impact and grow professionally.
